Message from the President & Representative Director
![]() |
Founded in 1918 in a town known for its paper industry, our company began as a small printing workshop. Over more than a century and across four generations, we have steadily expanded our business while learning through constant trial and error, adapting to the changing times, and striving to survive in an ever-evolving industry. We owe this journey entirely to the continued support of our valued business partners and the dedication of all our employees. Around fifteen years ago, we established a production base in Cambodia to serve the Japanese market. Since before the COVID-19 pandemic, we have further expanded our activities throughout Southeast Asia, centering on Cambodia, and are now working to create two-way business opportunities with the ASEAN market. Recently, many of the initiatives we have been cultivating have begun to bear fruit. The business environment has changed dramatically in the wake of the pandemic, and conditions have become increasingly challenging both in Japan and overseas. Even so, we will not be afraid of failure. As one united company, we will continue to take on new fields and develop new products with greater determination than ever. Looking ten, twenty, and even more years ahead, we remain committed to being a company that is truly needed by society. With gratitude, humility, and a strong spirit of challenge, we will devote ourselves each day to steady improvement and growth. January 2026 Yamato Printing Co., LTD |

SDGs declaration
With our corporate philosophy of “Create “Future” brings joys” we emphasize three perspectives—Economics, Society, and Environment—and are committed to contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
Economics
Through partnerships with various companies both locally and internationally, we are realizing our global expansion. We strive to be a company that our clients feel good about entrusting their work to.
Specific Initiatives: By leveraging the ideas of our local and international partners and employees, we respond to the voices of customers in Asia, selling stationery that enriches daily life. We are expanding our market reach to Asia and beyond.

Society
We are committed to fostering diverse working styles and contributing to the realization of a richer world. We promote a company culture where employees can take pride and partners can engage with confidence.
Specific Initiatives: We support diverse working arrangements across Japan by collaborating with home-based workers in production. At our factory in Cambodia, we enhance skills through technical training, expanding exports to Japan and various Asian countries. Our Vietnamese trainees contribute to market growth upon their return. Additionally, our scholarship program helps create an environment where employees’ children can easily pursue higher education.

Environment
We are contributing to the regeneration of limited resources in collaboration with local partners. Together with employees, customers, and suppliers, we are committed to environmental protection.
Specific Initiatives: In partnership with our alliance partners, we produce notebooks with wooden covers made from thinned timber, which we export and sell in France, contributing to forest regeneration. Additionally, we make efficient use of production waste, such as leftover paper from calendars, by repurposing it within our group companies as memo pads and copy paper.
